Womple
AI chat with control over your own conversations and data. Two areas of engineering: a native iOS frontend and AI memory management.
Project overview
Work on Womple spans both the mobile experience and the platform's memory capabilities. The iOS frontend brings conversations to iPhone, while the memory work focuses on maintaining useful context over time.
iOS frontend
- Native interface. SwiftUI screens, navigation, chat composition, and account controls designed for iPhone, with Dynamic Type and accessible touch targets.
- Rich conversations. Live reply updates, Markdown rendering, image attachments, conversation search, and earlier-message loading that preserves reading position.
- Platform integration. System sign-in, secure session storage, and Live Activities for reply status on the Lock Screen and supported Dynamic Island devices.
- Responsive chat. Attention to long conversation performance, scrolling behaviour, and reliable updates as replies arrive.
AI memory management
Developed memory-management capabilities for Womple, with a strong focus on retaining useful context and maintaining continuity across conversations. This is a separate area of engineering from the iOS frontend, focused on the companion's ongoing memory.
Quality and testing
Developed focused checks for chat behaviour, reply delivery, conversation history, Markdown presentation, image attachments, and native layouts, including long-transcript and text-size scenarios.
iOS technologies
